There isn’t too long to go till the LUX Style Awards will commence this year’s ceremony. Being the most prestigious awards of the country, all the sectors of the entertainment industry will come together to celebrate one of the grandest nights of the year. Assuring wins for many, and powerful performances for the rest, the LSAs have vowed to be one hell of an event.

Every year, we see prominent personalities from Film, TV, Music, and the Fashion industry gracing the event with their presence. Similarly, even this time around a lot of celebrities are all geared to make an appearance, while some will go all the way and perform or host segments. But amidst it all, there are many who have chosen not to attend the event.
Word on the block is that some of the biggest names like Ahad Raza Mir, Sajal Aly, Saboor Aly, Sana Javed, Imran Abbas, Hareem Farooq, Gohar Rasheed, Bilal Abbas Khan, Mawra Hocane, Urwa Hocane, Farhan Saeed, Aiman Khan, Muneeb Butt and Minal Khan will not be attending. Reportedly, the stars do not have any other commitments to meet outside Pakistan, nor is any other event coinciding with the LSAs.
The reason behind them not attending isn’t out in the open. However, this year’s LSAs have garnered enough controversies as it is, with a number of celebrities opting to boycott the event due to the nomination of an alleged harasser. Nevertheless, the event will continue in all its grandiose and promises to be one that is full of surprises.
