Shaan Shahid shared the reason behind his film ‘Waar’ being so close to his heart on Twitter.
Taking to the social site on Thursday, Shaan said ‘Waar’ brought Pakistani cinema closer to Hollywood. “Waar always close to my heart as it brought Pakistani cinema closer to Hollywood,” he wrote.

It must be noted here that ‘Waar’ directed by Bilal Lashari featured Pakistani security forces in their fight against terrorism and also the risk security officials take in their life.
After the success of ‘Waar’, the makers had hinted towards making its sequel featuring Ayesha Omer, Agha Haris Durrani, Bilal Ashraf, and Aleeze Nasser. Reportedly, ‘Waar 2’ was written by Hassan Rana while Waqas Rana was to be the director of Photography and producer of the film.
