On Tuesday, actor Feroze Khan revealed that he had sent legal notices to prominent figures in the industry who, according to him, have spread “false and baseless allegations” about him in relation to the domestic abuse allegations made by his ex-wife, Aliza Sultan. His post on Instagram detailed the names and personal information, such as phone numbers and addresses, of multiple celebrities, and was later deleted.
Almost all the celebrities mentioned in the post – namely Farhan Saeed, Yasir Hussain, Sarwat Gilani, Aiman Khan, Minal Khan, Mira Sethi, Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy, Asim Azhar, Muneeb Butt and Osman Khalid Butt – have responded to Feroze’s step and have stated legal action.
Sarwat Gilani took to Instagram to share screenshots of numerous missed calls from unknown numbers, holding Feroze responsible for her leaked number. “It is bizarre and despicable that private information, including phone numbers, of various famous individuals has been publicly shared on the absurd pretext of issuing legal notice to them by Feroze Khan. Not only are such actions clearly illegal but also demonstrates the total lack of maturity to handle matters in a civilized way,” she wrote in the caption.
“Two days ago had Feroze Khan one ex wife and her lawyer now he will have to face 10 celebrities and their lawyers who stand against him. Good luck!” she added.

Sarwat’s husband Fahad Mirza also lent support to the artists while calling out Feroze’s act. “I don’t like to get involved in nonsense, but Feroze Khan is really vengeful and stupid for adding the personal numbers of all these actors and then making it public! After this knee-jerk response, he really has proven that he is a moron of the highest order and I am sure whatever his wife says about him must be true,” he wrote.

Mira Sethi reshared Sarwat’s post and had the same sentiments. “Echoing what Sarwat says here about leaked numbers. Unbelievable. My lawyer will respond to the notice, and I will continue standing with Aliza Sultan,” she wrote.
Muneeb Butt also took to his Instagram stories to comment on the matter. “Leaking my family’s personal details on your social media, trying to play smart by uploading the notice of a law firm and then deleting it. Whoever is suggesting this to you has thrown you into deep trouble, my friend. I feel bad for you, now you will have to face all of this. Initially I thought it’s a stupid mistake, waited for 24 hours, but no apology or excuse proved that it was a deliberate move. I thought you were better than that, seriously,” he wrote.
“Complaint registration / Verification process has been completed. FIA cyber circle has initiated the inquiry. The process has started. You will have to taste your own medicine, now wait for the call,” he added.
Yasir Hussain also shared multiple screenshots of random texts he has been getting, all alleging how they got his number through Feroze Khan. “A stupid man first hits his wife and then publicly shares our numbers online. Now, due to this, a child has been constantly messaging me to cast him in dramas, otherwise, he’s threatening me to give him Rs100,000. Please tell me, what should I do?” he wrote on his Instagram stories.
Sharing another screenshot of the texts he received, Yasir commented on the stark difference between the two. “This person has sent me his personal number, yet I won’t publicise it. Do you know why? Because I went to school and that should count for something. It should show that you are educated. Shame on you, stupid man,” he wrote.
Aiman and Minal Khan also shared how distressing the day has been for them and how they will be taking legal action against the actor. “Yesterday my private information including my personal phone number was leaked on social media. It was an utterly shameful act which was carried out intentionally by Feroze Khan on the absurd pretext of issuing a legal notice. This action of his has caused me severe mental distress as I have been receiving hundreds of calls and messages. My personal security has been breached & put at risk as I have been mentally harassed, tortured & threatened by multiple numbers. Me and my family’s life has been put in danger,” Aiman wrote.
“Such actions are illegal – This being said I will be taking very strict legal action against Feroze khan for leaking my private information on social media along with multiple other famous individuals,” she added.

Meesha Shafi lent support to fellow celebrities, citing her own experience with defamation notices. “Having suffered the most mala fide defamation case, I just want to tell anyone who might be stressing out because of this stupid case that he’s going to lose in every way in the end. Karma is real. All my solidarity with each and every one of you, especially Aliza,” she wrote.
