A Pakistani documentary about late social media sensation Qandeel Baloch named ‘A Life Too Short’ has been nominated at America’s largest documentary festival, DOC NYC.
Directed by Safyah Usmani and Saad Zuberi under the banner of MTV Documentary Films, ‘A Life Too Short’ had been recognized on several digital platforms. Now, this project will make its debut at the international festival.
A Life Too Short is based on the honor killing of late model-cum-social media sensation Qandeel by her brother at the age of 26.
