The trailer for Heer Maan Ja is finally out, and it promises to give everyone their much-needed dose of entertainment this Eid-ul-Azha! With Ali Rehman Khan and Hareem Farooq giving it their comical best, this film might just be your next masala favourite.
Starting off by giving us a glimpse of Khan’s character and his perfect-life-gone-haywire situation, it already hits the right notes with ample surprise elements. Enter Farooq’s character and we have a runaway bride situation, quite unlike the rest. The bride isn’t running off to settle with our guy, but is in a turmoil of her own. This leads to anticipated car chases and fight sequences where Khan seems to shine like a hero.

The best part is the movie isn’t all about the usual tropes of comedy, action, and entertainment. It explores the deep pressing issue of honour killing, and has left us wondering how exactly it aims to tackle the sensitive topic. Moreover, to keep the fun spirit alive, there a hoard of cameos for everyone to enjoy – especially Aaminah Sheikh in a badass avatar.
All in all, the trailer has definitely piqued our interest, and we can’t wait to watch all that Heer Maan Ja has to offer this Eid-ul-Azha. But will it manage to create its own space amongst the likes of Parey Hut Love and Superstar? Only time will tell!
