The Knock-out stage of Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 5 is likely to be held in Karachi in a bio-secure environment between November 12 and 18.
Daily Express reported that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has shown confidence in completing its premium cricket league following the decline in number of COVID-19 cases in the country.
Inspired by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB)’s bio-secure arrangements, PCB is optimistic to provide a similar environment to the players and officials as safety precaution during the completion of the mega event.

Moreover, only Asian players are expected to take part in the knock-out stage that too subject to the present situation across the world. PCB is currently working on framing protocols for the event. The cricket board will also consult with the government to allow limited crowd if the situation remains clear from widely spread virus.
It must be noted here that PSL 5 was postponed in March after COVID-19 outbreak in the country. Multan Sultans, Karachi Kings, Peshawar Zalmi, and Lahore Qalandars had reached to final stage of the event.
