Ahmed Ali Butt expressed disappointment over the illegal killings of transgenders in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK).
Reacting to the news of these killings, Butt took to his Instagram story and tried to drag the attention of higher authorities towards this matter.
“This is beyond shocking, transgender community deserves every bit of protection as every other citizen of Pakistan but sadly no action is ever taken when such tragic events take place. A life is a life regardless of their gender. We need to bring criminals to justice and set an example for the sake of humanity,” he wrote.
According to reports, at least 10 transgenders were killed during last week on KPK. Reports claimed that local authorities have been failed to control the situation.
