Nabeel Qureshi and Fizza Ali Meerza are all set to start shooting their first-ever web series and it will be based on the ‘Lyari Gang War’.
Speaking to Galaxy Lollywood, Nabeel confirmed that a web series is on cards and will be produced under the banner of Filmwala Production. According to the director, the series is written by Ali Abbas and Basit Naqvi, the writers of ‘Laal Kabootar’.
“It is a web series based on Lyari Gang War,” said Nabeel. “It will be the first-ever web series to be produced in Pakistan and will be released on a Pakistani OTT platform,” he added.
Remember, Nabeel’s Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad starring Mahira Khan and Fahad Mustafa is all set to release whereas Fatman featuring Ahmed Ali Butt is also in pipeline. With the announcement of the web series, this will be Nabeel’s third mega project.
On the other hand, Zee5 had already announced to release 5 new original Pakistani web series on their revamped ‘Zindagi’ digital platform. The series are done by Mehreen Jabbar, Haseeb Hasan, Anjum Shahzad, Kashif Nisar, and Asim Abbasi.
