Haider Ali has made the entire Pakistani nation proud after winning the first-ever gold medal in Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games on Friday.

In the Men’s Discus Throw event of Paralympic Games 2020, Haider registered a 55.26 meters throw in his fifth attempt out of six to bag the first position.

The achievement from polio-affected Pakistani athlete drew major attention on social media with people cheering for the first-ever gold for the country.
