The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has landed in hot water after they signed two Indian production companies ‘Tower Sports and SportzWorkz’ for the upcoming domestic season and PakvsZim white-ball tour.
According to the details, the cricket board had signed a record USD200million broadcast deal with Pakistan Television (PTV) under the supervision of Prime Minister Imran Khan. In the light of this contract, people are now questioning PCB for collaborating with Indian Production companies.
#PCBJawabDo is trending on Twitter with people being confused between production and broadcast rights. However, they are asking PCB that why they joined hands with Indian companies for home events production.
If PCB had already decided to give production rights to Indian company then why they asked PTV to bid? Why did they delay the contract?
Why gave rights to indian company 3 days before start of series?#PCBJawabDo pic.twitter.com/Yw5Ew7tVkt— Ayeshay (@champagne_lassi) September 29, 2020
Why PCB breached the contract and took the production rights from PTV. PCB gave production rights to PTV for National T-20, Quaid-e-Azam Trophy & Pak-Zimbabwe series. They literally have given the rights to an Indian Production house SportzWorkz & Tower Sports. #PCBJawabDo

Then why PCB breached the Contract with PTV and made contract with Indian Company Sportsworkz in 32 crore just 3 days before.#PCBJawabDo pic.twitter.com/X0KeFpCVuS— Muhammad Abbas Khan (@Muhamma15639025) September 29, 2020
