Federal Investigation Authority (FIA)’s special court registered First Information Report (FIR) against Meesha Shafi and eight others who were allegedly involved in running a defamatory online campaign against Ali Zafar.
According to the details, the FIR was registered under the supervision of FIA’s Cyber Crime wing. Other than Shafi, Iffat Omar, Lena Ghani, Fareeha Ayub, Mahim Javed, Ali Gul Pir, Haseem Zaman Khan, Hamna Raza, and Syed Faizan Raza were also named in the FIR.
It must be noted here that Meesha, on April 19, 2018, Meesha accused Ali of harassing her during a project. The singer filed an FIR against Teefa In Trouble actor. In November 2018, Ali rejected all the allegations and claimed that a number of fake accounts are involved in running the #MeToo campaign against him on different social platforms.
