“See, I was being offered to become the coach of the national team right after my retirement in 2017. But, I took three years to think before taking up this post. They didn’t want my support so here I am again,” Younis disclosed.

It must be noted here that Younis was appointed as the national team’s batting coach for two years in 2020. A couple of days ago, his sudden resignation made everyone surprised.

According to the reports, Younis was unhappy with National High-Performance Centre (NHPC)’s coaches interference in the national team’s affairs, especially, Mohammad Yousuf’s interference in the batting department of the team.
