As many as 1000 contestants sent their entries for the contest. The contestants were shortlisted through online voting with final decision by the organizers. Out of 1000, 100 singers were shortlisted and the list further reduced to 50. The contest will end next week.
The Facebook page of ‘Idol Online’ gathered public interest and it gained an eye-catching following in a short span of time. Shuja himself is organizing the page and doing live sessions to motivate the participants.
