Another year, another Pakistan Super League (PSL) season to look forward to. And with that comes one of the highlights of the year, another official PSL anthem to start one of the fieriest discourses we get to witness annually.

This year, the anthem titled Sab Sitaray Humaray was produced by Abdullah Siddiqui, and was performed by Asim Azhar, Shae Gill, and Faris Shafi. And as per tradition, it has given rise to mixed reactions, with many people either holding the previous versions in high regard, missing PSL anthem regulars like Ali Zafar, or are just left totally unimpressed by this version.

Amidst it all, Shae Gill’s part by loved by all.

Many took this as a chance to revisit memory lane and bring back older PSL anthems and different renditions to the timeline.

And that also included bringing Ali Zafar to the forefront.
