Larkana-born Shahnawaz Dahani rose to all the fame he deserved after taking the highest 20 wickets in the recently concluded Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 6.

Following the successful debut PSL season, reports claimed that the selection committee has decided to include the young pacer in national white-ball squads. According to the reports, selectors and team management are on the same page to include Dahani in white-ball squads against England and West Indies.

The selection committee has requested Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to arrange Dahani’s departure for England. If it doesn’t happen due to logistic issues, Dahani will then join the national squad for T20Is against West Indies.

Earlier, Dahani got his place in the national Test squad based on his First-Class performance last year. He picked up 26 wickets in seven Quaid-e-Azam Trophy matches last year.
