In December last year, it was reported that Pakistani actors Adnan Siddiqui and Sajal Ali had been granted visas for India to shoot the last spell of their movie titled MOM starring Bollywood’s veteran Sridevi in leading role. However, the latest reports have revealed that the spell will now be shot in Bangkok.
According to the report by bollywoodhungama, “Sridevi and the rest of the cast that comprises of Pakistani artists Sajal Ali, Adnan Siddiqui and Vikas Verma will commence shooting for the film soon in Bangkok.” The decision to change the location on last minute is taken to avoid any controversy for casting Pakistani artists. “The film would be leaving for Bangkok in the first week of March and are expected to wrap up shooting the song and an important scene for the film that kicked off in March last year in two days,” it reported.
According to reports, Sridevi and Adnan Siddiqui will play a couple in the movie starring Sajal Aly as their daughter. The film also star Akshaye Khanna and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
Mom is being produced by Sridevi’s husband Boney Kapoor and is expected to release later this year.
