The holy month of Ramzan teaches a lot to everyone. It is about praying, learning, sacrificing and be united to help others. As a majority, our people always love to help each other but we see a huge rise in Ramzan. One such activity is being done by one of the biggest telecommunication service providers – Ufone Pakistan – where they are contributing to provide airtime and space to individuals who are making a difference in our society.
Under this unique campaign which they have named #itsallaboutU, the brand is highlighting three social initiatives on mainstream media, billboards and social media websites. These initiates include Operation Eid Child by Sharmine Aziz in Islamabad, Dewar-e-Meherbani by Omer Nasim and Daniyal Shah in Peshawar and Khana Ghar by Parveen Saeed in Karachi.
This is not the first time that the brand is playing its part to help others instead of just promoting its identity. In past, we have seen that it provided life jackets to Pakistan Navy to help them in their relief mission when there was a flood. It had collaborated with Buksh Foundation to distribute Solar Energy lanterns in Thata Deva and Kalas villages.
Through this new initiative, where the brand is promoting efforts of other individuals, it is not just supporting these social initiatives to generate funds but also creating an awareness among masses to do the good for others in the holy month of Ramzan.
