Veena Malik met the press at the Arts Council of Pakistan in Karachi to launch her song Aye Dushman e Watan and it was not a surprise to see media still going gaga. “Firstly, I would like to say that the romance of the media, their love for me has not decreased for me,” expressed Veena. “It has only increased,” she added.

Post press conference, in an exclusive interview with Behtareen.pk, the former Lollywood actress told that she has started doing TV and would sign a film on her condition. “In my career, I am doing TV and if some film puts a positive impact on society, I will do that as well,” she told. The actress further added that she was not interested in doing commercial projects. “I don’t wish to do anything which has only commercial objectives.”

Talking about her song, she told that it was her tribute to Pakistani forces, specifically to forces currently doing operation Rad-ul-Fasad to put an end to terrorism. “The song is an anthem which is a tribute to Pakistan forces,” told the actor cum singer. “Because we love our forces and we are with them in Rad-ul-Fasad,” she added.

When asked how difficult it was to produce a song for an actress, she told that she had been learning singing for last five year. “My interest for music was always with me and during acting, it went on backburner,” she told Behtareen.

The actress also talked about her production house Veena Malik Productions and told that she will be making more anthems. “I am hoping to produce more anthems but with them, you will get to see some other productions as well,” she revealed. “I would like to dedicate them to my beloved country,” she added.

The new song has marked at least her third comeback in showbiz industry in past five years, on which, the actress said that it will only end with on her last breath.
