Update: According to a PCB official statement who talked with behtareen.pk, the board fired Ahmed Godil ‘due to unprofessional behaviour and indiscipline.’

It’s still the beginning of Pakistan Super League season V and we already have enough controversies and issues to talk about for next couple of weeks. Firstly, Quetta Gladiators middle order batsman Umar Akmal was suspended for allegedly meeting a bookie ahead of first encounter against Islamabad United. Secondly, digital media went crazy as ground mc Ahmed Godil came to host the opening ceremony. Then Ali Azmat reportedly misbehaved with the organizers at the backstage and indirectly alleged Ali Zafar for defaming PSL V anthem Tayyar Hain by paying to bloggers.

Just yesterday, in an exclusive interview with behtareen.pk, Godil revealed that he was not allowed to play any of Ali Zafar’s anthems that he sang for PSL. That video of him went viral over internet and renowned anchor Waseem Badami picked it (without giving any courtesy) at his show ‘Har Lamha Purjosh.’ Badami also took Zafar on call, who apparently was unknown to  any such news.

Now our sources have told us that the Godil has been put on hold by PCB authorities for talking about Ali Zafar and his anthems not being allowed at National Stadium, Karachi. Currently, the host is not present at the National Stadium during Quetta Gladiators vs Peshawar Zalmi match.

We have also contacted PCB for their official version, which will be added as soon as we get it.
