Federal Minister for Education, Shafqat Mahmood has advised students to focus on studying and give exams instead of wasting time in making social media trends.

Speaking to Dawn News, Shafqat said exams will not be canceled this year at any cost, students should prepare for it.

“First of all, exams will not be canceled this year, in fact, matric exams have already started in Sindh today,” he said.

“And, my advice to students is, please focus on exams instead of making social media trends. It will just waste their time and nothing else. They still have time to prepare for exams,” the Education Minister responded to a query.

It is pertinent to mention here that students across the country were protesting online against the government who announced to conduct exams in July. Several celebrities including Ali Zafar and Asim Azhar also raised voice for students.
