The thrill of PSL matches aside, fans have been more excited about the anthem as always. And apparently, Ali Zafar took it upon himself to deliver a song despite there being an official PSL anthem, featuring Asim Azhar, Ali Azmat, Arif Lohar, and Haroon Rashid.

Anywho, Zafar’s unofficial PSL anthem, Mela Loot Liya, is finally out and let’s just say, we’re still racking our brains trying to figure out the need for it. The hype over it started a week ago when tensions between Azmat and Zafar were on a rise and the singer promised his fans that he would release his version soon. The singer then asked his fans to contribute with a dance routine, some glimpses of which can be seen in the video.

As for the song itself, it remains a hit or miss as his die-hard fans have finally gotten what they needed but the rest of us are still craving for a powerful anthem that resonates with the PSL spirit. Safe to say, the song as a standalone does not amount to much, and the video with all the fan power makes it somewhat passable.

Let’s see if Mela Loot Liya will go down in history as one of the best PSL anthems, or another unsuccessful attempt. Either way, you know our verdict, and we’re just hoping to enjoy the rest of the matches in peace. Meanwhile, you can check out the song below if you haven’t already!
