Meesha Shafi lamented misreporting by Pakistani media in her harassment case filed against Ali Zafar.
While talking to media outside court, Meesha said she suffered huge financial losses due to misreporting by media.
“Media misreported in my case which cost me financially,” Meesha shared. “After I spoke up, many women from the industry came to me with their stories. I couldn’t name them but I can assure you there are many cases similar to mine,” she said.
Meanwhile, the singer expressed high hopes for the case to be turned out in her favor. “I have always appeared in front of court. They never asked me to appear physically. I believe in truth and I am hopeful for my case to turn out in my favor,” she concluded.
