Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 7 is just around the corner and Pakistanis are excited for the fresh episode of their cricketing brand.

But, COVID-19 cases are somewhere denting all the excitement. According to the reports, COVID-19 positive cases were reported in Quetta Gladiators and two other teams’ camps.

Meanwhile, reports also claimed that nine people from National Stadium Karachi’s staff were also tested COVID-19 positive.

On the other hand, local players are reporting at a local hotel in Karachi to join the bio-secure bubble for the event. Foreign players will start coming to Pakistan on January 21.

The mega seventh edition of PSL is scheduled to start from January 27 with defending champions Multan Sultans taking on home side Karachi Kings in the opening match.
