Singer-cum-actor Farhan Saeed believes that prime time dramas should go with caution because some sensitive topics like ‘casual’ abuse of women can have larger impact on the audience.
In an interview to BBC Urdu, Farhan said he will never raise his hand on a girl in a drama, and stories like this should be moderated with caution .
“If someone told me to raise my hand and hit a girl, I would not do it. It would be wrong of me to promote negativity or be an ideal of any sort with this behaviour,” he said.
While talking about the success of his ongoing drama serial ‘Mere Humsafar‘, Farhan credited entire team of the project.
“I think people like mellow stories. The whole cast of this play has done a great job. Be it Saba Hameed or Hania, everyone played their characters well. The emotional, sensitive side of the play was intense and I think that’s what connected well with the audience,” he shared.
