Danish Taimoor and Sana Javed worked together for the first time in a telefilm titled Rana Sahab Ki Life K Funday in 2013. Four years later, the duo is coming back with a bigger project, a film titled Mehrunisa V Lub U (MVLU), which will mark be latter’s debut on big screen. “I have never seen such film in Pakistan, and don’t think it was made in India either,” told Danish in an exclusive interview with Behtareen.pk. “We consider ourselves lucky to be a part of this film as it will definitely bring some change in cinema,” he added.

The debutant Sana Javed revealed that she was offered the film when it was not even written. “Yasir Nawaz called me to the success party of his Wrong No. and offered me this film,” she revealed. The film is revolved around Mehrunisa, the female lead which has been played by debutant. “She triggers the change. She is the catalyst in the film,” told Sana while adding that the film is not just about her but every woman, and on a bigger scale, the whole country. “There are many symbolic things attached with the character and it is not just Mehrunisa, it is every women, it is Pakistan,” she added.
Danish informed that the idea of the film was clocked in Yasir Nawaz’s head when they were shooting Wrong No. in 2015 and that the former took a year and wrote seven drafts along with the writer to finalize the screenplay of the film.
“I play the role of a guy who is coming back to Pakistan after some years and considers himself Muhalley Ka Hero,” he told about his role in the film. “It is the most grand, most innovative and most meaningful film that I have been a part of in my career,” he added.

Film releasing on this Eid ul Fitr and we asked the lead cast why people should rush to cinema to watch their movie. “If they want entertainment and take good memories, they should come and watch this film,” urged Danish. “It is an Eid entertainer and the only family movie releasing on this Eid ul Fitr,” he added.
Currently, Danish Taimoor is shooting Javed Sheikh’s Wajood while, according to some reports, Sana Javed has also started working on her second big screen project opposite Feroze Khan titled Khaani, a film by Anjum Shahzad.
Mehrunisa V Lub U is directed by Yasir Nawaz, who has also produced it along with his wife Nida Yasir and friend Hassan Zia. Music of the film is given by Simaab Sen while the lyrics has been penned by Bollywood veteran Gulzar.
