The owner of Karachi Kings Salman Iqbal has said that ‘Friday’ is a lucky day for his franchise after they beat Peshawar Zalmi in a thrilling encounter by 10 runs at National Stadium Karachi on Friday.
Kings have never lost a match on Friday throughout the last four seasons of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). With yet another win on Friday, the men in blue maintained their record of being unbeaten on this day of the week.
Kings’ owner also recognized this fact and shared the same thing during an interview after the match. He called ‘Friday’ a lucky day for his team as far as a strong winning percentage is concerned.
It must be noted here that Kings have gained two points after winning the first match. They will play their next match against Quetta Gladiators on February 23 at same venue.
