Peshawar Zalmi’s duo Haider Ali and Sohaib Maqsood have been suspended from Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 6’s final today after they both breached the bio-secure bubble.

Both the players met people from outside the bubble and also breached social distancing SoPs. They have now been put into isolation rooms and will not be able to take part in today’s final against Multan Sultans.

Moreover, this mistake has also cost Haider his national team spot as PSL 6 performer Sohaib Maqsood has replaced him for the upcoming England and West Indies tour. The right-handed batsman has so far scored 363 runs in 11 PSL 6 games at an average of 40.33 and strike-rate of just under 153.

Earlier, he played 26 ODIs and 20 T20Is for Pakistan till January 2016.
