Last night’s Filmfare Middle East Achievers Night in Dubai gave many global superstars the chance to mingle and interact under the same roof and take home some prestigious accolades for their work. Representing Pakistan, we had Humayun Saeed, along with Fahad Mustafa and Sajal Aly. The actor received the Trendsetter of Pakistani cinema award for his contribution to the Pakistani entertainment industry.
Accepting the award, he warmly thanked his fans and the industry. “Thank you for this honour. I have been working for 25 years, and you are still tolerating me and that says a lot about the love you people have for me, along with my wife, parents, and the industry folks’ love,” he said.

Speaking of the multicultural scale of the event, he expressed how positive it is when Indian and Pakistanis come together. “When Pakistani and Indian actors keep meeting up, it affects the public greatly and increases their love for another as well,” he said.
He also engaged in a friendly banter with Indian comedian, Bharti Singh, where she asked about his film London Nahi Jaunga, and Saeed responded with ‘Main India bhi jaunga’ (I will go to India as well). All in all, the event was a great place for cross-cultural interactions that many fans crave between Lollywood and Bollywood at the moment.
