The Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) has banned Waqar Zaka’s reality Show on Bol Entertainment named ‘Champions’.
According to the notice issued to the management, the show has been banned due to violating the social, religious, and cultural values of the country.
The Islamabad High Court has also backed the decision of PEMRA to ban ‘Champions’ due to showing vulgar and indecent content.

Reportedly, musician-turned-lawyer Yahya Farid represented PEMRA in Islamabad High Court who later also confirmed the news on his Facebook.
On the other hand, neither Tv channel’s management nor host Waqar have yet made comments on the recent development.
It must be noted here that the reality show’s format followed the footsteps of famous reality shows ‘Big Boss’ and ‘Big Brother’.
