PSL 5’s knock-out stage shifted to Karachi

The remaining four matches of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 5 has been shifted to Karachi following the recent deterioration in the air quality caused by an early onset of intense air pollution in Lahore.

According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the decision to shift matches from Lahore was taken considering the health and well-being of players and officials.

The knock-out stage of the PSL is scheduled to take place from November 14 to 17. Multan Sultans, Karachi Kings, Lahore Qalandars, and Peshawar Zalmi will lock horns for the title.

On the other hand, the home T20I series against Zimbabwe has also been shifted to Rawalpindi from Lahore due to weather conditions. Pakistan and Zimbabwe are scheduled to play three T20Is on November 7, 8, and 10, respectively.

Sunday, 15 Nov – Eliminator 2, (loser Qualifier v winner Eliminator 1), (8pm-11.30pm), Karachi
Tuesday, 17 Nov – Final, (8pm-11.30pm), Karachi

Pakistan v Zimbabwe (matches to start at 3.30pm PST)

Sat, 7 Nov, – 1st T20, Pindi
Sun, 8 Nov, 2nd T20I, Pindi
Tues, 10 Nov, – 3rd T20I, Pindi
