Mohammad Rizwan is likely to replace Azhar Ali as Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is considering a change in Test leadership.
According to ESPNcricinfo, Azhar’s Test captaincy is under review and PCB’s CEO has already met him to discuss his performance. The Test skipper will now meet Ehsan Mani within 10 days after which the decision will be taken whether he will remain in his position or not.
Rizwan recently made Khyber Pakhtunkhwa National T20 Cup champion and this performance made his case strong to become the new red-ball format skipper.
