Ailing legendary comedian Umer Sharif’s US departure has been delayed after he was shifted to the Critical Care Unit (CCU).
According to the local doctors, Umer will be under strict vigilance for the next 48 hours. Today, he also went under dialysis after his blood pressure dropped.
Meanwhile, an air ambulance arranged by the Sindh government for the comedian has reached Karachi’s airport. Any decision on his travelling will be taken in the next 48 hours.
It must be noted here that Umer’s treatment was suggested in the US by the local doctors. Pakistani veteran actor Reema Khan’s husband Tariq Shahab will do treatment of Umer.
The Sindh government had already released four crore rupees for the expenses of Umer’s treatment abroad.
