Ushna Shah is currently basking in the highs of her post-marriage honeymoon phase, and it seems like nothing can dim her light. Which is why when she caught up with a publication for a quick interview, she didn’t mind getting into the details of what works for her and what doesn’t when it comes to her love life.

In a recent video posted by Mashion on YouTube, Ushna was asked a whole bunch of fun questions on a dinner date. When asked what she considers an immediate red flag in a partner, Ushna was quick to point out how it’s when they bear ill-will towards their exes.

“If he speaks ill of his exes. Because if he speaks lowly of his exes or any other woman, then that tells you a lot that you need to know about him so watch out for that. And if he tries to make you feel special by comparing you with another woman and degrading that woman. Watch out,” she said.

While red flags are considered super toxic, on that note Ushna was also asked whether she has been toxic to her partners.

“Yes, I think everybody has had a little bit of that phase. I would say in my late teens, early 20s I had a small phase where i was a bit possessive, maybe. A very short phase and I’m grateful that I grew out of it. I actually thought about it. I was like “What the heck was I thinking when I said that or I did that?” That was so not cool. I think it’s good to recognise those things in yourself. We live and we learn. As long as we live, we learn,” she shared.

She was also asked about her attachment style which may have changed after being married, but Ushna confirmed it. “My current attachment style is very secure. I would say it was very anxious. It seeps into me now sometimes also. But more or less its very secure,” she said.
