All you need to know about Lux Style Awards 2016

Pakistan’s most prominent showbiz awards, the Lux Style Awards are completing fifteen years on this coming Friday, July 29th. This time, the makers are claiming to bring the biggest and the best show ever. There will be power packed performances, tributes, gossips and of course celebration of winning the most prestigious award in the country. Ali Zafar to pay tribute to late Amjad Sabri Qawwal;

Last year, late Amjad Sabri Qawwal opened the show and mesmerized the audience with his performance but alas, he is no more with us to celebrate the 15th edition.

This year, Ali Zafar has been given the task to pay tribute to the legendary Qawwal. Ali was spotted doing the rehearsals in studio. “Recording my first Qawwali in memory of a great Qawwal #amjadsabrito be performed at the 15th Lux style awards,” he wrote on his Instagram.

Mahira Khan and Sheheryar Munawar of Ho Mann Jahaan to dance on Shakar Wandan;

We had seen Mahira Khan hosting the 14th LSA along with her Humsafar male lead Fawad Khan. This year, there is no such report of them sharing stage together rather, she will share stage with her Ho Mann Jahaan’s star Sheheryar Munawar.

Farhan Saeed and Urwa Hocane to host music segment;

Reports reveal that Udaari’s Farhan Saeed and Urwa Hocane will host the music segment of the show and might dance on a couple of songs.

The makers believe that red is too mainstream and therefore, they have decided to go for a Black Carpet this time. Karachi Se Lahore girl Ayesha Omar will host the black carpet.

Last year, Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan hosted whole show but this time, they have decided to go for multiple hosts. So far, we have heard that Ali Zafar, Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, Ahmad Ali Butt, Sohai Ali Abro, Farhan Saeed, Urwa Hussain and Yasir Hussain will be hosting different segments.
