Faisal Kapadia revealed that he cried for two days after he and Bilal Maqsood suddenly announced to quite their 30-years-old band Strings.

In an interview with Voice of America (VoA), Faisal said the decision to finish Strings was not taken overnight.

“For people, it was sudden but I and Bilal were thinking of it for a very long time,” Faisal shared.

“Obviously, it was equally painful for us to quit Strings. I cried for two days after that decision. But, we had to do it as we both wanted to end Strings on a high note,” he responded to the emotions they received from their fans.

Talking about his come back, Faisal said it wasn’t planned. “To be honest, the plan was to chill and enjoy life with myself and family after Strings,” he said.

”But, I got a call from Xulfi one day and he shared his idea with me for Coke Studio (CS) 14. I really liked his idea and said yes. Here, I am,” concluded Faisal who sang CS 14’s last song ‘Phir Milenge’ alongside Young Stunners.
