Indian singer Daler Mehndi was overwhelmed after listening to ‘Gal Sunn’ by Ali Pervez and Meesha Shafi in Coke Studio Season 2020.
Taking to social media, Ali shared a video of Mehndi who applauded both the singers for doing justice with the folk song.

“I am ecstatic,” said the Punjabi singer adding on, “Ali and Meesha did a wonderful job with Gal Sunn and I am really impressed, especially with Ali coming out to the world with his amazing voice. We always admired his father, Ustad Pervez Mehdi, and grandfather Bashir Hussain Rahi and I wish they were alive today to see their son’s success,” he concluded.
