Madiha Imam said Mahira Khan and Fawad Khan in lead roles was one of the main reasons behind her signing the upcoming film ‘Neelofar’.
Speaking to Something Haute, Madiha said Neelofer was worth signing due to its script and the two Khans in the lead roles.
“I did not have to compromise on my morals and that was obviously the reason why I signed this project. Secondly, it was also worth signing as it features Mahira and Fawad in lead,” she said.

“I am really happy and satisfied to have signed Neelofar as my first Pakistani film. The content is amazing and knowing that Fawad Khan is the producer, I knew it was going to turn out great,” she added.
Ek Jhoothi Love Story actor said her role in the film is short but modern, intelligent and kind-hearted.“It’s a strong part and I thoroughly enjoyed playing it. My role was mostly with Fawad and it was wonderful. The film is refreshing and really lighthearted. There is a lot of newness to the genre,” she concluded.
Produced by Fawad and written/Directed by Ammar Rasool, Neelofar has completed its shooting and all set to release sometime in 2021. The film’s cast also includes Behroze Sabzwari, Atiqa Odho, and Naveed Shahzad in key roles.
