This year’s season of Pakistan Super League is about to commence with its first match being played at Multan stadium. A huge part of PSL’s popularity is credited to its annual anthem and how much people enjoy it and look forward to it, and this year’s PSL 8 is no different.
According to our exclusive source, it is highly likely that singer and rapper Faris Shafi will be doing the honors of singing this year’s official anthem. Previously, artists like Ali Zafar, Atif Aslam, Aima Baig, Fawad Khan, and others have performed the anthem. There has been no official announcement of Shafi’s involvement yet, but keep your eyes peeled for more updates.

One of Faris Shafi’s recent projects includes his appearance in The Legend of Maula Jatt, where he played the role of Fawad Khan’s brother, Mooda. He also did a song for season 14 of Coke Studio with his sister, actress and singer Meesha Shafi, called Muaziz Saarif.
The first match of PSL season 7 will be played on February 13th in Multan.
