The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to pre-record the opening ceremony of PSL 6 as it couldn’t take place live at National Stadium Karachi due to COVID-19 protocols.
In this regard, reports claimed that the cast of the PSL 6 anthem including Aima Baig, Naseebo Lal, and Young Stunners have reached Turkey. Turkey’s popular city, Istanbul will be the pre-shoot destination of PSL 6’s opening ceremony.
The ceremony this year would be pre-recorded and go live before the first match between Karachi Kings and Quetta Gladiators on February 20.
Meanwhile, Aima has also posted a departure story on her Instagram and wrote ‘Off to Turkey’.
On the other hand, PCB’s CEO, Wasim Khan confirmed that the PSL 6’s opening ceremony will be a -pre-recorded show. “It will be pre-recorded this year due to COVID-19. We chose Turkey for better production,” he said in a brief statement on this.
It must be noted here that PSL 6 will be played in Lahore and Karachi from February 20 to March 22. Karachi Kings will defend their title in the event.
