Adnan Siddiqui expressed disappointment over Amir Liaquat’s controversial comments regarding late Siri Devi and Irrfan Khan during a game show on Friday.

Adnan, who was invited on a game show ‘Jeeway Pakistan’ hosted by Liaquat, took to Instagram to make a public apology to the families of both late Indian actors on behalf of the entire Pakistani nation.

“I regret being on Amir Liaquat’s show,” Siddiqui wrote. “It was extremely callous to joke about the deceased. If you see my body language, I was extremely uncomfortable with what he said,” he added.

It must be noted here that Liquat joked about late Indian actors while Siddiqui was on the hot seat during his game show. “You saved two lives, Rani Mukherji and Bipasha Basu, you know how?” Liaquat asked Siddiqui. “No, I don’t know,” the actor replied.

“You worked with Sridevi in Mom, later on, she died. You worked with Irrfan Khan and he also lost his life. Thank god! you rejected Mardani 2 and Jism 2, otherwise, both Rani and Bipasha would also have died,” he joked.
