Pakistani model and actress Iman Ali revealed that the makers of Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Raees’ approached her for the lead role in the film but they didn’t like it when she asked for the script.
Iman appeared in ‘Say It All with Iffat Omar’ and talked about how she was rejected from SRK’s hit which was later done by Mahir Khan. “I was approached for lead lady role in Raees but when I asked them for the script they got offended. I think they didn’t like someone asking for a script since it was a major role opposite Shahrukh Khan,” she said.
“I shared this with some of my friends and they were in shock that how can I do this. But I think for me my role is very important regardless of who is opposite actor,” she added.
Meanwhile, the actress also disclosed that still 90% of the films in Pakistan are being offered to her.
It must be noted here that Iman will be once again on big-screen with her upcoming project ‘Tich Button’, scheduled to release on this Eid-ul-Fitr.
