Yasra Rizvi revealed that she was offered a role in Pakistan’s first-ever web-series ‘Churails’ after passing an audition.

Speaking to Nashpati, Yasra said she wasn’t the first preference for her role in ‘Churails’. “I wasn’t the first choice for this role,” she shared, adding on, “Actually, makers had some problems with the one who was signed earlier for this role. After cancellation of their contract, they called an audition and I was among 25 to 30 candidates who appeared in it. So, yes I was selected for this role after giving an audition.”
Written and directed by Asim Abbasi, ‘Churails’ went on air on Zee5’s digital platform ‘Zindagi’. The web-series suffered controversy over its content which revolved around women empowerment featuring Nimra Bucha, Yasra Rizvi, Sarwat Gilani, and Mehar Bano in lead roles.
