Chief Minister Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah assured that late comedian Umer Sharif’s name will be kept alive by his government.
CM Sindh visited late Sharif’s house in Karachi alongside Administrator Karachi – Murtaza Wahab and met his family members.
While talking to the media after meeting Sharif’s family, Shah praised the legendary comedian and his services for Pakistan.
“Umer Sharif was a legend and I have fond memories with him. He represented Pakistan all across the world and proved his worth everywhere,” he said.
“He is an asset for us and we won’t let his name die. We will continue his legacy and assure full support to his family,” he added.
