Zulfiqar Jabbar Khan aka Xulfi will be producing this year’s Coke Studio (CS) season after Rohail Hyatt parted ways with the music show as a producer in March this year.
In a Twitter question/answer session, Hyatt had confirmed that he will not be producing CS’s new season. “I am sure CS is being planned but not by me,” he had replied to a query.
Now, reports confirmed that Xulfi will be producing the music show following a Tweet from CS’s handle read ‘Xulfi Shuru Karain?’.

Bringing it into your account, Hyatt also suggested Zulfi as the best option to produce the upcoming season. “Xulfi will be an apt replacement as a producer in CS,” he had wrote.
It is worth mentioning here that CS was launched in 2008 and Hyatt played a crucial role in it. He took a break from the CS for six years and returned in 2019 and produced a back-to-back season.
