Shahroz Sabzwari shared that after his divorce from Syra Yousuf, it was better for him to get married instead of living single while working in the industry.
Shahroz and Sadaf appeared as a guest couple on Nida Yasir’s morning show ‘Good Morning Pakistan’ on ARY Digital. During the show, the couple talked about how they met, fell in love, and then got married.
“I was going through a very difficult time in my life after getting divorced from Syra. Meeting someone like Sadaf at that time was something really good happened,” he shared.

“Being a religious person, I had honest intentions to marry Sadaf and I told her when we were back home from Norway. It was better to get married instead of remaining bachelor in this industry,
“Our religion asks us to refrain from a lot of things and I try to stay away from it. There is so much we aren’t permitted to do [in Islam], but if we get married, they become beautiful,” he added.
Talking about qualities in Sadaf, Shahroaz praised her being a pure soul. “Her purity impressed me. Even when we were in Norway, for everyone she was Sadaf Kanwal, the supermodel, who was always glammed up but I could see it. It was put in my heart by the Almighty, and I always saw a life partner in her,” he concluded.
It is pertinent to mention here that Sadaf was criticized a lot after the couple tied the knot amid COVID-19 in 2020. People on social media blamed Sadaf for being the reason behind the Shahroz-Syra separation.
