‘It’s the death of Father of Comedy’ Jonny reacts on Umer’s demise

Indian actor and comedian Jonny Lever highly praised Pakistan’s legendary comedian Umer Sharif who passed away in Germany on Saturday.

After the news broke out of Umer’s demise, people from India, Pakistan and all around the world, expressed their grief and sorrow.

Jonny was also among the admirers of Umer who proved his mettle in the world of comedy acting. “Its not the demise of Umer Sharif, it’s the death of Father of Comedy,” Jonny said in his statement to Samaa Tv.

The Indian actor, who worked with Umer when India-Pakistan relations were good, said don’t compare the latter with anyone as people like him are born once in a thousand years.

“Don’t compare Umer with anyone else. He was unique, gifted and cannot be compared with anyone else. People like him are born once in a thousand years,” he highly praised.

“The persona of Kapil Sharma and his dialogues give a much reflection of Umer,” the Indian artists complimented.

It is pertinent to mention here that Umer left millions of his fans disappointed across the world. He battled heart and kidney disease for a long time and was on his way to the United States of America (USA) via air ambulance for treatment.

During the journey, his health condition deteriorated and the air ambulance had to land in Germany where he was admitted to a local hospital. After hours of treatment, he couldn’t survive and left this world as per confirmed by his wife Zareen Ghazal to media.
